Standfast 40
The Standfast 40 is designer Frans Maas's most successful sailing yacht. The racing yacht, which is over 12 metres long and four metres wide, won the Fastnet race in 1975. The first design dates from 1971, and 116 Standfast 40s were built in various versions until 1984.
This Standfast 40 benefits from a newer Yanmar engine (2003) with 40 KW and a nice interior in good shape. New Raymarine i70 displays! The teakdek needs attention. Age of the sails is not know, still usable, but would benefit of a control by a sailmaker. Big plus: The berth in marina Lanzarote is included in the sale, until 01 may 2025. Comes with a free tender and Yamaha 4 hp outboard (not tested) The boat needs generally some attention (cleaning), but could be, with some TLC, easily ready to make long voyages.
